This ICER paper studies incentivized spacing in a real computer science classroom and examines how gender relates to learning behavior and outcomes in that setting. The paper adds an equity lens to the spacing and adaptive-learning thread. If a learning system changes practice behavior, it should also be examined for who benefits, who participates, and where gaps persist.
